Scarce helium inflates prices: "Linde Gas in Bessemer is one of a handful of transfill plants across the nation that receive containers of liquid helium and then vaporize it and repackage it in trailers or cylinders for a variety of uses. Linde supplies hospitals and other health care operations that use liquid helium to cool superconducting magnets in MRI machines."
