Linde plans hydrogen production in Saraland: "A $20 million hydrogen production plant planned at the Shell Chemical refinery in Saraland will create eight local jobs and make the refinery more cost efficient, according to the company building the plant.

Cleveland-based Linde Gas LLC, which builds plants that use steam to isolate hydrogen from other gasses, is going to seek environmental permits for its plant."
